The job of a Mobile UI/UX designer involves creating intuitive and engaging interfaces for mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Designing mobile application interfaces that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and intuitive to use.
- Conducting user research to identify user needs and preferences.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and meet project requirements.
- Conducting user testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile UI/UX design
- Working with product managers and other stakeholders to define project goals and requirements.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Continuously improving the mobile application’s user experience by iterating on designs and incorporating user feedback.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Requirements
- Any IT Savvy graduate
- Fluency in written & verbal communication & Project Documentation
- Proven work experience as a mobile UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Proficiency in Figma/Xd/Other UI design tools
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
